While a fight is probably in the works between Naruto and Nagato, I wondered if it might go differently. Nagato (ostensibly) wants to find a way to achieve the maximum amount of peacetime. I think after Nagato finishes his sob story (which will most likely be Yahiko's death [and also not very high in the running for most tragic Naruto character]) Naruto will explain his own plan for peace.

Now, while I don't think Naruto's plan for peace will thoroughly convince Nagato, I think it's possible that it might take the fight out of him, or at least force Konan to do some fighting before, ultimately, ceding the point as well.

The past few chapters seem to be bordering on a disillusionment for Naruto, and I think that will change how he deals with Nagano.
