Fandom: Naruto
Pairing: Sasuke/Naruto
Title: The Blessed Realm
Author: senior-witch/susanna (me)
Rating: M / R - from age sixteen
Genre: Romance, humor
wordcount 300k and growing
Summary: When Danzou becomes Hokage of Konoha Naruto has to leave the village. Sasuke, on the other hand, is forced by his team to find some legendary Blessed Realm. Both parties meet in a town that is familiar to us, but rather strange to our young ninjas, who suddenly find themselves confronted with modern world politics and modern world morality.
Warning: The story is extremely long, so here's some advice: The first half contains the romance, the second half (from chapter "not all powerful") is more about politics. Of course both are not clearly separated, as this is still one story, not two...
The story was suggested ("prenominated") for the Ficcy-Awards at fanfiction.net in a couple of categories (best slash story, best slash romance story, best overall long story, best long Narutoverse story). Officially the time for suggesting stories for the competition is over, but if I were them I'd extend the prenomination time. They haven't written about this, however, and neither have they announced their way of deciding which story will make it to the real nominations.

You can, of course, do things outside of all of this too, just mark your posts so we know and we're sure that people would be more than happy to run with whatever ideas might come up in the future. As a small warning though, we do allow violent and sexual themes for our players, so if these things are not to your taste, skim threads carefully.
For those of you interested in some background on the world itself, all play is based in a place called Michi no Sato in Jiten no Kuni (The village of Paths in the land of Time). The only Shinobi in this place are the ones the players bring, though the oddly calm way the villagers handle shinobi implies they've dealt with them before. They do take Naruto-verse currency, so anyone fortunate enough to bring money should be all set. Michi itself is set at the base of a cliff, and some of the houses are actually built into the cliff face itself. Anyone standing at the top of the cliff, if they have the misfortune of being weak to genjutsu, will see nothing but a never ending drop however, so watch your step. The weather is highly unpredictable, going from sunny skies to violent snowstorms with almost no warning, so keep an eye on the cues of the villagers! Good luck everyone, and enjoy your new home.
We have a rather small player base currently, but we're friendly and more than open to anyone new who might come around. We hope to see you there!
